Transfer of credits

Transfer In : Students seeking to transfer credits earned at another postsecondary institution to Dominium Institute, or from Dominium Institute to another institution should note that the transferability of credits is at the discretion of the accepting institution. It is the student’s responsibility to confirm if another institution of the student’s choice will accept credits.

If a student desires to transfer a course from previous learning, the courses must be evaluated, and its content must be at least 75% equal in content to our course to be accepted for transfer. The student can transfer only general education credits. Official Transcripts that include the transfer credits must be submitted to the Admissions Office. Credits that are submitted for transfer must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA. Dominium Institute reserves the right to accept or deny the course.

Dominium Institute does not accept transfer credits for its core, laboratory, or clinical courses.

Dominium Institute does not transfer clock hours for its Home Health Aide or Practical Nursing Programs.

For evaluation purposes, students must provide a copy of the course description for the program to be evaluated and the school catalog or similar, for the time during which the course was taken. Evaluations are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Transfer Out: Students seeking to transfer credits earned at Dominium Institute to another institution should note that the transferability of credits is at the discretion of the accepting institution.
